The second story particularly worrisome because this isn’t the first time vinyl children’s products have been found contaminated with lead (How Gov’t Decided Lunch Box Lead Levels). This plastic needs to be banned. But in the meantime, smart buyers should simply avoid this plastic, and homes with young children should think of throwing it out.
